Special Occasion Bot

The Special Occasion Bot is designed to engage with customers who have dined at your restaurant.

Based on your settings, the bot will reach out to these customers and invite them to share special dates in their lives—such as birthdays, anniversaries, and more.

You can customize the rewards for each type of special occasion shared. Customers will receive a coupon (with validity you define), encouraging them to return—boosting both sales and customer retention.

The best part? Once set up, the bot handles all communication automatically—no manual follow-up required.


You can access the Special Occasion Bot under 'Chatbot' on the left side:

Clicking on it, you can:

Enable and Disable the bot


  • User can enable or disable the bot 



Setup Screen

  • Verify the setting screen Enable bot toggle, Setup section and Follow-up text section


  • User can see the setup integration, and they can click on Edit Icon, where they can edit the integration and Copy Icon the Integration API Key 



  • User can set one item from the Response Dropdown 



  • Similarly, user can select one for Response Type





  • User can click on cancel button to revert any changes



Follow-up Text Screen


  • User can see the set bot language and change it by clicking on the dropdown, and by clicking on the Save button, new data should be saved. 

    This is the language you want the bot message to send to your customers.


  • User can enable and disable the Send text to a new Leads to engage with the bot by clicking on the toggle, and new data can be saved by clicking the Save button
    Turning this on will reach to any new customers that dine in with you.




  • User can see the set Send Follow-up Texts to Existing Leads is enabled or disabled and change it by clicking on the toggle, and by clicking the Save button, new data can be saved. This is to send follow up text messages to leads that have not interacted with the bot upon the initial text message sent to them.


  • User can see the set Send coupons yearly to same lead is enabled or disabled and change it by clicking on the toggle, and by clicking the Save button, new data can be saved. Keeping this on will send rewards to these customers every year. For ex: Person A will be sent a coupon for their birthday every year based on your settings.


  • User can check/uncheck the different Engagements days for sending the " Follow-up" text 

    This is mainly as to in how many days would you like to send a follow up text message with the bot link to your guests.



  • User can edit the any of Engagement  " Follow-up text" . We encourage you NOT to change this but you can change it if you need to.


  • User can check/uncheck the different Re-Engagements days for sending the " Follow-up" This is mainly to set up after how many days would you like the bot to reach out to your guests who started a conversation with the bot but did not fully complete


  • User can edit the any of Re-Engagement " Follow-up text" 



  • User can click on cancel button to revert any changes
